My works, paintings and poems, deal with Man's destructive impact on frail ecosystems, the biodiversity as well as social injustices in society. The lack of balance between progress and nature, resulting from man's failure to conserve and distribute the resources on the planet amongst its inhabitants, is manifested in the disappearing variety of life especially the extinction of wildlife. Some of my works are dedicated to the poor state of women in some parts of the world, without rights, abused and treated as sex objects for sale.Lately I am looking up to the life of wandering birds as a model to life without boundaries, a model for peace. You will find pelicans, cranes and more.

Mis obras, pinturas y poemas tratan el impacto destructivo del hombre sobre los ecosistemas frágiles, la biodiversidad y las injusticias sociales en la sociedad. La falta de equilibrio entre el progreso y la naturaleza, resultante de la incapacidad del hombre para conservar y distribuir los recursos del planeta entre sus habitantes, se manifiesta en la desaparición de la variedad de vida, especialmente en la extinción de la vida silvestre. Algunas de mis obras están dedicadas al mal estado de las mujeres en algunas partes del mundo, sin derechos, abusadas y tratadas como objetos sexuales para la venta. Últimamente estoy mirando la vida de los pájaros errantes como modelo de vida sin fronteras, un modelo para la paz. Encontrarás pelícanos, grullas y más.

Over the course of many years of systematic and sober work, Varda has perfected her unique style, a technique that serves her well. With the use of freely running paint that can flow naturally, Varda succeeds in developing enchanting dialogues between the flowing and the fixed, the free and the inhibited, the random and the deliberate. Then, suddenly, the gentle image of an animal from Planet Life is rudely trod upon by a dirty boot or run over by a filthy tire. Varda strikes a distinct balance between the beautiful and the ugly that gives one serious pause for thought. Indeed, one of her paintings is worth a thousand pictures and a thousand thousand words. Con el uso de pintura que corre libremente y que puede fluir naturalmente, Varda logra desarrollar diálogos encantadores entre lo que fluye y lo fijo, lo libre y lo inhibido, lo aleatorio y lo deliberado. Under the wash of mud, blood, tire tracks and shoe prints, in a series of stunning paintings, Varda Breger explodes as an artist of tremendous emotional power. Layered images emerge like ghostly comments on the immediately perceived image. The stains of light in the soft eyes and on the skin of the doe momentarily deflect the viewer from the barbed wire that is lacerating it, the hedgehog lies beside the tire track. Bajo el  barro,la sangre, huellas de llantas y huellas de zapatos, en una serie de impresionantes pinturas, Varda Breger explota como una artista de tremendo poder emocional. Las obras de Varda Berger tratan sobre la conquista de la naturaleza por parte del hombre y las dolorosas relaciones en la sociedad humana. La falta de equilibrio entre el progreso y la naturaleza, resultante de la incapacidad del hombre para conservar y distribuir los recursos del planeta entre sus habitantes, se manifiesta en la desaparición de la variedad de vida, especialmente en la extinción de la vida silvestre. Muchas de sus obras están dedicadas a la situación de inferioridad y desesperanza de la mujer en la sociedad occidental y oriental, y al estado de pobreza de África. Últimamente está admirando la vida de los pájaros errantes como un modelo de vida sin fronteras, un modelo de paz. Varda Breger utiliza medios mixtos en una técnica espontánea de acuarela. Los objetos quedan enjaulados en las líneas formadas por la corriente de colores diluidos, y en ocasiones son atropellados por sus zapatos o por las ruedas de los coches. Varda Breger nació en Israel y vive en Tel-Aviv. Tiene una maestría en Química, ha mostrado sus obras en más de veinte exposiciones individuales y ha participado en muchas más exposiciones en Israel y en el extranjero. Es miembro del Foro Israelí de Arte Ecológico, Artistas Europeos, la Asociación de Artistas y Escultores de Tel Aviv, la asociación AFC-Artist for Conservation y la Unión General de Escritores de Israel.Milita estos días en el movimiento "mujeres libran la paz"

Varda Berger's works deal with the conquering of nature by man, and the painful relations in human society. The lack of balance between progress and nature, resulting from man's failure to conserve and distribute the resources on the planet amongst its inhabitants, is manifested in the disappearing variety of life especially the extinction of wildlife. Many of her works are dedicated to the inferior and hopeless state of women in western and eastern society, and the poor state of Africa. Lately she is looking up to the life of wandering birds as a model to life without boundaries, a model for peace. Varda Breger is using mixed media in a watercolor spontaneous technique. The objects are caged in the lines formed by the streaming diluted colors, and sometimes run over by her shoes or car wheels. Varda Breger was born in Israel and lives in Tel-Aviv. She has a master's degree in Chemistry, has displayed her works at more than twenty solo exhibitions, and participated in many more exhibitions in Israel and abroad. She is a member of the Israel Forum of Ecological Art, European Artists, and the Tel Aviv Artists and Sculptors Association, and the AFC-Artist for Conservation association, and the General Union of Writers in Israel.She is active these days in the movement "women wage peace"
